Daniel and Patrick Klug have recently unveiled their first title “Game Dev Tycoon,” where a player finds himself in 1980s and has to create a development powerhouse from a little development firm within 30 years. What is interesting, the Klug brothers decided to make a small experiment and launched a cracked version of their title, afterwards they place this version to a torrent website by themselves. However, the pirated version differs from the original one, as players start the game in an absolutely different way, running into piracy, which make them go bankrupt in the end.

During the second-quarter earnings call today, one of the questions asked to Tim Cook was about the number of products launched last fall and whether he would like to change anything if he could. While Apple CEO is usually secretive about how decisions are taken in the company, this time Cook said that he wouldn’t have released the new iMac model until 2013. If Apple wasn’t in such a hurry to introduce the long-awaited update, new iMac buyers wouldn’t have faced such long delays.

The “fruit company” has significantly reduced all component orders for the Mac product lines lately. Thus, the company’s suppliers haven’t received further instructions about the future orders, so they are able to wait until the US-based vendor restart making orders. The sources from the upstream supply chain claim that the suppliers intended to finish making Mac components in April, but at the moment they are simply waiting for instructions from the iPhone maker. The sources have also claimed that the orders for Mac production to the supply chain significantly reduced after the Lunar New Year holidays.

On the 18th of April, shares of Apple saw a considerable drop in their value on the back of negative data, volatility issues, and uncertainty over company’s prospects. The NASDAQ shares of the Cupertino company reached $398.11, sliding by 6.6% below $426.24 of the 17th of April. The shares movement represented a severe downturn for the stock and a 16-month low for Apple. The uncertainty over Apple’s earnings was to blame. To note, NASDAQ was down 1.11%.
